About Conviction Solutions and Attorney Jamie Resch

Conviction Solutions is the trade name of Resch Law, PLLC, a Las Vegas law firm founded by attorney Jamie Resch. The firm was built on one idea: a bad decision should not have to be permanent. For veterans, that means challenging VA decisions that deny service connection or assign a rating lower than the evidence supports.

What the firm handles

Conviction Solutions focuses on appeals, the stage of a case where the record, the rules, and the written argument decide the outcome.

VA disability appeals. The firm represents veterans nationwide in appeals of VA benefit denials and underrated service-connected conditions, including hearings before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals and appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Criminal appeals and post-conviction relief. Direct appeals, ineffective assistance of counsel claims, newly discovered evidence, and death penalty representation.

Related matters. Professional licensing and disciplinary defense, administrative hearings and agency proceedings, juvenile delinquency defense, and child protective services cases.

He is VA-accredited and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

He has been recognized by The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and is rated on Avvo.

Why an appellate background matters for VA claims

Most VA appeals turn on the record: what evidence is in the file, what the C&P examiner missed, and whether the decision applied the right diagnostic code and legal standard. Jamie spent more than a decade building and reviewing records for appeal on the government’s side. He now uses that experience to find the errors in a veteran’s decision and build the evidence and written argument needed to correct it.

How a VA appeal works with the firm

  1. Free case review. The firm reviews your denial or rating decision and identifies the grounds for appeal.
  2. Build the record. Service records, medical evidence, and medical opinions are gathered to support your claim.
  3. File and argue the appeal. The firm chooses the right appeal lane and presents the legal argument, through the Board and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims if needed.
