In-State Tuition for Nevada Veterans
Veterans and their dependents may qualify for in-state tuition rates at Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) institutions including UNLV, UNR, CSN, Nevada State University, and others, regardless of their state of legal residence, if they use GI Bill education benefits or meet other qualifying criteria.
This benefit follows federal law (Section 702 of the Choice Act) and is available at all public universities in every state — but Nevada’s in-state tuition rates make this particularly valuable.
